Louis Vuitton: Objets Nomades at Salone del Mobile 2017
Created in 2012, the Objets Nomades collection keeps alive Louis Vuitton’s long tradition of beautifully crafted travel objects.
This year’s exhibition added 10 new Objets Nomades to the total colleciton of 25, including designs by IDS Alumni Raw Edges, nendo, Patricia Urquiola (above left), the Campagna Brothers (above centre) and Marcel Wanders (above right). With this collection, two new designers joined the House: India Mahdavi and Tokujin Yoshioka.
Over 160 years after Louis Vuitton began exploring new territories and ideas of travel, the Objets Nomades collection can be seen as proof that Louis Vuitton has lost none of its sense of adventure.
