2020 brought immense changes to businesses globally. Like everyone else, Green Theory Design had to adapt and change quickly. Market demand increased while shipping constraints and material shortages challenged the manufacturing process. In some ways, these market conditions led the team to speed up plans for expansion and new range of product lines exponentially.
The opening of a new 40,000 sq foot manufacturing facility in Tillsonburg, Ontario in 2021 enabled Green Theory to meet both shipping and lead-time demands on a Coast to Coast basis. This was a critical expansion, since 70% of their business is in the US.
Additionally, Green Theory Design was able to fast track a new line of aluminum planters: STOCK. Replacing the pre-existing fibreglass collection which was imported from overseas prior to 2020, STOCK is a great addition to the company's completely Made in Canada product range and is also completely in keeping with their Green mandate.
